— Classes — Explore academics through art. Take home projects that tie art to the world of literature, math, music and science. Paint, draw, sculpt and play! Our pre-K workshops are designed for parents who want an advanced academic program for their creative young children.
Afterschool Art for Children & Teens Drawing, painting and ceramics. Warm-up cartooning, art history and masterpiece studies. Instruction in watercolor, acrylic, tempera, oil, pastel, graphite, clay and mixed media. Students work with artist-grade materials and explore line, shape, form, color and composition. Tuesday-Friday, 4-6 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m.-Noon. Classes & Workshops for Home School Schedule your interests with SGA at a convenient time. Class minimum - 6. Painting for Adults Watercolor, oil and acrylic painting. Beginning, intermediate and advanced. Individual and group instruction to help you become one with your medium. Inspiring sessions that will advance your skill level and help you to become prolific and professional. A fun getaway, group critique and sharing of ideas. Come set up early if you like. Wednesdays, 7-9 pm., $80/month Resident Artist Program Come play anytime you like during business hours for a monthly fee! Tuesday-Saturday 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Life Drawing Timed drawing sessions with live models in a photo lighted environment. Someone will be there to sharpen your pencils and offer refreshments. Thursdays, 7-9 p.m., $80/month Clayschool for the Family Throw pots on the wheel and try your hand at sculpture. Build armatures to support your work. Take home an array of fired and glazed artworks. Saturdays, Noon-6 p.m., Drop in, $30/session, 25 lb. clay purchase required. — Monthly Tuition — Classes: $65/month, $75 annual materials fee (non-refundable), $25 Sketchbooks (annual purchase).
